Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the third film in the series Transformers movie. The film will hit was directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film is a continuation of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and is scheduled for release on June 29 at selected locations and July 1, 2011 in the United States. This film will be presented in ordinary 2D, 3D and Real D IMAX, featuring Dolby Surround 7.1 sound.

Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro is the main actor. Peter Cullen returns as voice Optimus Prime. Ehren Kruger, who collaborated in writing the second movie, re-engage in the writing. Megan Fox will not be starring in this third film. With Fox's character Mikaela, Sam has provided a new love interest, which will be played by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

On October 1, 2009, Transformers: Dark of the Moon has entered into pre-production, and release of the planned return for the originally intended date of publication July 1, 2011. Filming began in May 2010, with shooting locations including Chicago, Florida, and Moscow. Because the revived interest in 3-D technology that was brought by the success of the Avatar, talks between Paramount, Industrial Light & Magic and the Gulf have been considering the possibility of the next Transformers movie to be filmed in 3-D. Tests have been done in bringing technology into the work of Bay. Michael Bay was reluctant to film with 3-D camera because the tests he found them too complicated for the filming style, but he did not want to apply post-production technology, either because he was not happy with the results.

On March 19, 2010, said the script is finished, and pre-buds begin on April 7, 2010 in Indiana, which will describe the Ukraine and Los Angeles. The film begins on May 18. The first six weeks in Los Angeles, including the location of Sherman Oaks, Fourth Avenue and 5. Main. The next four weeks were spent in Chicago. Location was filmed in Chicago, including LaSalle Street, Michigan Avenue, Bacino of Lincoln Park at 2204 North Lincoln Avenue and around the "Sears Tower". Filming is scheduled to take place there after the work is done in Chicago.

On September 23, the film is done in the former city hall in Detroit, MI. On 16 October, the work is done at Johnson Space Center in Texas with the intent to shoot scenes set in the late 1960s using the additional period of fashion and hair styles. One day of filming was also done in the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia. Other planned filming locations include Africa, Moscow, and China. Approximately 70% of movies made in 3-D, using the Arri Alexa and the Sony F35 camera, while other footage was shot in anamorphic format on 35mm film and converted into 3D in post-production. 35mm film is used for scenes filmed in slow motion, and scenes which require a higher picture quality than HD digital 3D camera can provide, such as facial closeups or shot from the sky. 35 mm camera was also used for scenes where 3D camera proved too heavy, or subject to a flame or electrical damage from dust. This film was officially completed on November 9, 2010, and on November 26, announced the film has entered the post-production.

Filming temporarily suspended on September 2, 2010 in Hammond, Indiana, when an extra was badly injured during an action. The accident occurred when the steel cable snapped from the car towed, an extra car hit and damaged his skull. Extras, identified as Gabriella Cedillo, should undergo brain surgery. injury has left a permanent brain-damaged, paralyzed on the left side and his left eye stitched closed. As a result, Paramount took responsibility for the accident and decided to cover all medical expenses incurred
